This entry level position will provide Service Depot process development support for Iventix system. The individual will strategize, develop, design, and implement processes and procedures to support the LVP Service Depot; this will include all phases of the Service Depot (decontamination, provisioning, investigation, repair, test, and packaging). The individual will work with the various cross-functional teams to evaluate and create new or update existing processes and procedures based on Fresenius Kabi servicing/manufacturing requirements and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Supports daily activities of LVP Service Depot department. Collaborates with various managers, supervisors, and engineers in other disciplines in developing, evaluating, and improving the Service Depot processes and methods. Contributes to projects related to product design, tooling, production equipment/fixtures, assembly methods, quality improvements and cost savings. Analyzes and helps Service Depot management plan capacity, define workspace requirements, workflow and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Collaborates with the Service Depot manager to help estimate Service Depot touch times, staff requirements and related costs necessary for strategic and budgetary decisions. Conducts research to develop and introduce improved servicing methods. Analyze service processes to ensure quality results are achieved and sustained. Analyzes data to determine return on investment. Works with service personnel to establish or revise work instructions and procedures. Works with various departments, (purchasing, quality and sustaining engineering) to improve/ensure quality outcomes for the Iventix products Participates in the process of identifying and qualifying new servicing equipment, workstations / systems, and test fixtures. Works with the safety coordinator to perform hazard analysis on new equipment and systems to ensure safe working conditions. Assists in executing validation protocols related to assembly and test processes. All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities. Requirements Must be familiar with electro-mechanical manufacturing best practices. Must possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical, manufacturing engineering or related degree from an accredited university or college. Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environment, strongly preferred. Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly and testing, preferred. Must possess strong computer literacy and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Must possess a good mechanical aptitude as well as the ability to read assembly and process drawings. Must be able to work and function as part of a team to fulfill organizational goals and requirements This position requires excellent problem solving and communication skills.
