Westinghouse seeks a Senior Engineer in our Cranberry Township, PA facility to work as part of a team for leadership and standardization of components used in nuclear instrumentation and control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the application of components used in safety related I&C systems including the following:
Serve as a design engineer for standard modules and assemblies used as building blocks to support engineering design of safety I&C systems. Compile technical documents / specifications for procurement, testing and manufacturing. Manage Bill of Material and revision control of circuit card assemblies Support supplier with technical issue resolution. Execute assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
What we'd like to see from you:
Required Skills: BS degree in Electronic Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent Minimum of 6 years of experience in electronic design Experience in troubleshooting hardware instrumentation Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Desired Skills: Experience in design or manufacture of I&C systems Knowledge of PLC control systems Knowledge of PCB fabrication processes Experience in a regulated field (Medical, Aerospace, Nuclear...) Enhanced requirements CDI Testing Full lifecycle of design - Requirements, Spec, Testing Experience in obsolesce management Ability to deal with a diverse set of internal and external customers
