DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Location:  Remote - US/USA

Summary: As our Corporate Counsel, you will collaborate with Sr. Director- Corporate Counsel, Risk Manager, Contracts Counsel, and management in providing legal counsel that mitigates risk to the company with an approach that is conducive to sales and growth of the organization. 

What You'll Do:  * Deliver high-quality contract review and advice:  * Review, modify, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts and documents, including but not limited to customer, vendor, authorized dealer, operations, IT, SaaS, professional services, and services agreements in accordance with relevant laws, rules. regulations. and company policies.   * Draft and manage standard contract forms and templates in accordance with legal requirements, industry standards, and company policy.  * Perform risk assessments and take appropriate action to balance risk to company with sales-oriented focus.  * Support use of company's contract management system.   * Address other legal items, including but not limited to:  * Promptly respond to questions on legal matters posed by team members.  * Facilitate internal workflow and work with external counsel as necessary.  * Support subpoena response.  * Advance department projects and initiatives. 

What You'll Need:  * J.D. (Juris Doctorate) with 2+ years' work experience as an attorney, preferably involving contract review.  * General legal knowledge and background required:  * Relevant to provide foundation for proficient legal review of contracts  * Team and customer oriented, with good interpersonal skills:  * Relevant to work pleasantly and professionally both internally and externally.  * Ability to work independently and act decisively:  * Relevant for time management and to increase efficiency.  * Ability to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines:  * Relevant to manage workload and numerous requests from varying department within company.  * Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities:  * Relevant for effective contract review and modifications.  * Strong writing and negotiation skills:  * Relevant for drafting and negotiating contracts.  * Must have the ability to professionally discuss with other party, gauge approach most conducive to achieving company's goals, and convert to written form.
