Job Title: Facility Group Leader

Job Description

We are seeking a Facility Group Leader to oversee a Union Facility Group. This role involves managing trades workers responsible for HVAC, plumbing, millwright, painting, and electrical repairs. The successful candidate will handle repairs, scheduling, and ordering materials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trades workers performing HVAC, plumbing, millwright, painting, and electrical repairs.

• Manage repair operations, ensuring timely and effective maintenance.

• Coordinate scheduling for maintenance tasks and repairs.

• Order necessary materials and supplies for repair and maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Essential Skills

• Experience in facility maintenance.

• Strong leadership or supervision skills.

• Knowledge of pumps, exhaust systems, fans, chillers, centrifugal pumps (both horizontal and vertical), and turbine pumps.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical systems and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in facilities maintenance and mechanical operations.

• Ability to manage and oversee a team of trades workers.

This position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.
