Job Title: EstimatorJob Description

A demolition contractor and small general contractor based in Michigan is seeking an experienced Estimator for their selective commercial demolition projects. The primary role of the Estimator is to prepare and present bid documents and accurately estimate the price of jobs. This involves analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates. The Estimator also consults with clients, vendors, and team members to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. Key responsibilities include preparing estimates for management, selecting vendors or subcontractors, visiting job sites, and overseeing the packaging and presentation of bid documents.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in WARREN, Michigan.

Work Environment

The role requires both in-office work and travel to job sites as needed. The office hours are from 6:30-7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and closing at 4:00 PM on Fridays. The Estimator will work under the direct supervision of the Senior Estimator and will receive in-office and field training on specific customer processes and functions.
