Job Title: Die Setter
Job Description
We are looking to add two experienced die setters to our team
In this role, you will work closely with the Die Repair and Operators
This position requires strong attendance and reliability
Responsibilities
Set up stamping dies
Utilize progressive and transfer press knowledge
Change tools out
Properly set up dies and equipment
Set the next die up and onto the press
Clean press bolster and ram prior to setting a die, as well as cleaning both upper and lower die parallels
Follow setup instructions to bring the proper conveyors to the press and set them up as required
Unbolt dies after production runs, remove scrap, and place them in the proper location
Unhook transfer system items and store them properly if applicable
Set up a job in the press, including setting the die and necessary equipment, and obtaining first piece approvals
Competently operate the overhead crane
Essential Skills
4+ years experience as a metal stamping die setter
Forklift and Crane Certification
Experience in setting up and adjusting dies, jigs, fixtures, and cutting tools of progressive dies
Ability to load sheet metal coils and dies into presses
Experience with progressive dies ranging from 400 to 2200 tonnage
Knowledge of starting up and operating presses on the floor
Strong safety knowledge when setting dies and operating a forklift/crane

Openings on multiple shifts
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr.
Working thru new benefits package and working with the US to match the market
Starting from the ground up; would help get to make the plant what it is.
They just launched their 2nd shift; would eventually launch 3rd shift by Q4 / Q1 2025
