Job title : Design Engineer / Designer

Job Summary The candidate will work as a Design Engineer or Designer focusing on creating and maintaining 3D CAD models using SolidWorks. They will design fixtures, work holding devices, machinery, and hydraulic systems while ensuring precision through Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT).

Skill Requirements Must-Have:

• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks

• Experience in fixture , workholding , and machine design

• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)

• Experience in hydraulic system development , including component design and integration

• Ability to create detailed print layouts with comprehensive GDT specifications

Preferred:

• Experience with other CAD software or design tools

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials

• Previous experience in a similar industry or sector

Skill Education - 3D CAD modeling: Creating three-dimensional representations of objects using computer-aided design software.

• SolidWorks: A popular 3D CAD software used for designing mechanical parts.

• Fixture design: Designing specialized tools used to hold objects in place during manufacturing.

• Workholding design: Developing devices that secure workpieces during machining operations.

• Machine design: Creating machinery components for various industrial applications.

• Hydraulic system development: Designing systems that use fluid power to perform mechanical tasks.

Requirements

-HS Diploma/GED

Pay Details: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour
