TEKsystems Customer Care Representative in Warren, Michigan

Job Description

As a Customer Care Specialist supporting EV owners and prospective EV owners, you will utilize exceptional customer service, marketing, and sales techniques to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

This role involves answering product questions, discussing charging options, providing assistance with product orders or reservations, setting up dealership appointments, and responding to frustrated customers with personalized, value-driven solutions.

80% Phone Calls, 20% Chat Functions

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week - Must be available between 8am - 12am ET M-F and 12pm - 9pm ET Saturday - Sunday (Will be assigned a shift with 2 days off, at least 1 weekend day)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the product expert for electric vehicles

  • Assist customers via chat, phone, and email with product, reservation, ordering, dealership, service, home-charging, and recall-related questions.

  • Take ownership of customer interaction and ensure that all customer questions are answered.

  • Continuously aim to improve customer satisfaction, productivity, and efficiency by making recommendations that benefit the customer.

  • Filter and process who is on the line (product loyalist, conquest person, etc.) and think differently about their perspective and issues.

  • Learn our EV products and use that knowledge to answer customer questions on features and specifications of the vehicle.

  • Work within company systems and personnel and use provided tools to perform the job.

  • Transfer learnings from one call to the next, synthesize inputs from customers, distill issues, recommend solutions, and ask for help/input as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of call center customer service experience in a customer service-related profession.

  • Computer navigation and typing proficiency.

  • Strong reading comprehension, oral, and written communication skills.

  • A positive self-starter with a strong work ethic, ability to meet/exceed deadlines, organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
