Boehringer Ingelheim Sales Training & Effectiveness Manager in Wanchai, Hong Kong
The Position
To maximize Sales Force Effectiveness through optimizing sales rep on-boarding training.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Develop and formulate sales training annual plan to ensure efficient operations and appropriate training activities that will support sales middle and long term objectives.
Devise and deliver overall training programs of selling related skill training for the sales force, ranging from selling, presentation, and negotiation skills to constantly keep the sales force updated.
Organize regular sales force gatherings, conferences, training for motivational purposes to ensure high sales force morale and achieve business goals.
Conduct new field force initial trainings in accordance with sales development
Confer with management in sales function to identify and assess the training needs/program based on company requirements and business goals.
Identify, define, and implement the sales force effectiveness enablers that will lead to a better productivity and to a higher customer value throughout BI Hong Kong
Requirements
10+ years of relevant pharmaceutical/healthcare work experience in sales, marketing and/or commercial team.
Knowledgeable in pharmaceutical industry, ideally technical knowledge in BI products or related therapeutic areas
With experience from training/ consulting firm in designing and developing sales related curriculum will be considered
Bachelor's degree and higher in pharmaceutical or life science related subjects
Ability to design, develop, implement and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology.
Understanding of adult learning strategy, engagement, and execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation/facilitation skills
From training/ consulting firm with experience designing and developing sales related curriculum will be considered
