Senior Informatics Product Manager - Bioanalysis

This role will be remote. United States East Coast preferred.

Navigating the rapidly evolving space of bioanalysis you will be tasked with delivering the strategic vison which will ensure our market leading products will continue to delight our customers for the next 20 years. As part of a multifaceted digital software solutions team, you will have the resources of a diverse set of internal and external partners as well as a modern SaaS delivery platform on which to call.

The successful candidate will engage with existing global customers, partners, and the internal organization to collect VOC, synthesizing these insights into actionable specifications. They will prioritize and transform those specifications into user journeys and epics that can be implemented by Agile development teams. They will provide leadership to those teams to ensure customer needs, release dates, and quality standards are met.

They will partner with marketing to define the value proposition, positioning matrix, and market segmentation of each product. These will be used to build marketing collateral and campaigns spanning the breadth of Thermo Fisher Scientifics business.

The product manager will also work closely with our solutions team investing time to provide repeatable customer centric configuration accelerators, illustrating and accelerating the time to customer value of the software we deliver.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in a Scientific or Engineering field.

  • Principal Investigator, Lab Manager or equivalent experience in the Bioanalytical or Pharmaceutical sector.

  • Experience using, managing or implementing enterprise software – preferably in a regulated environment

  • The ability to collect and synthesize customer feedback into actionable product specifications.

  • Consistent track record in communicating sophisticated concepts to senior leadership and to technical staff.

Preferred Capabilities

  • A background in the enterprise software Product Management space.

  • Active participation in relevant industrial, regulatory or scientific bodies.

  • Commercial or Marketing Experience and/or MBA

  • Current knowledge of applicable industry regulations

  • Experience in Scientific Method development and Validation
