MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST (CARDIOLOGY)

Contract l Onsite l 40 hrs

Wallingford, CT

Qualifications:

• 1 year medical administration experience (i.e. receptionist, administrative, scheduler)

• Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology

• Good interpersonal communication is necessary

• EMR Knowledge preferred

Job Duties:

Supporting their cardiology patients!

• Handling incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate person or department, and taking messages.

• Booking and managing patient appointments, including follow-ups.

• Assisting patients with the check-in process, verifying personal and insurance information, and checking them out after their visit.

• Updating and filing patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

• Processing patient payments, handling billing inquiries, and coordinating with insurance companies.

• Performing general office duties such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondence.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced Cardiology office

• Schedule: Mon-Friday; 7-4pm or 8-5pm; based on business needs
