SAP Working Student (f/m/d) - Event, Location and Communications Management Support for the SAP AppHaus in Walldorf, Germany

What you'll do

The position includes a wide range of activities that require clear communication skills, excellent organizational skills, an affinity for video and audio technology and attention to detail.

Be ready for a hands-on role that often involves working as part of the team as well as being open to sharing and learning.

The main part of your job will be to support the operational administration and coordination of workshops in the AppHaus. This includes:

Communicating with customers (internal & external) to ascertain their precise workshop requirements

Coordinating parties involved (e.g., customers, coach, facility staff), pre- & post workshop organization, e.g., scheduling calls, collecting feedback

Welcoming our visitors with a friendly smile, helping hands and open ears

Preparing and setting up the technical equipment and furniture for different event set ups

Technical support during workshops (if needed)

Occasionally supporting staff/coaches in Design Thinking workshops, depending on (coaching) expertise

Overseeing the workshop space

Post-event/workshop evaluation including data entry and analysis

Giving tours through the AppHaus

Additionally, you will be liaising with marketing and PR colleagues to support social media efforts to promote the AppHaus team and the workshop space.

Some operational tasks, such as coordinating suppliers and managing administrative functions, are also part of your job. If you feel like it, you can highlight your design and crafting skills to make the AppHaus an even prettier workspace!

For all your tasks, a high degree of professionalism and communicational maturity is expected. Keep the customer in mind - your goal is to ensure high-quality customer service.

What you bring

Preferred field(s) of study: (Event) Management, Communications Services or Tourism

Computer skills: Office, optional Adobe InDesign/Illustrator, MS Teams, Zoom

Language skills: Excellent English and German skills also in writing

Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of videography, sound engineering

Soft skills: Team-Player, curious and involved, creative, motivated, reliable, excellent communication and presentation skills, self-confident and assertive

Other: Motivated person who can work independently, enjoys working with people and feels free to express her/his opinion as well as experiment on set ups and new ideas.
