At our Fortune 1000 diversified energy company, you’ll find a friendly, community-minded environment, with flexible work schedules, opportunities for growth and development, and competitive pay and benefits.New Jersey Resources is seeking a Business Application Developer to support NJR’s customer experience solutions with a concentration on SAP Cloud for customer (C4C), SAP Marketing Cloud (SMC), and SAP-ISU (Industry Standard Utilities). Will also collaborate in the design, development, and implementation of SAP ISU solutions to support the utilities industry's specific requirements. Your role will grow into analyzing business processes, configuring the SAP modules, developing custom enhancements, integrating with other systems, and providing ongoing support and maintenance.In this position, you will collaborate with a Technical Lead and Sr. Developer to perform functional reviews, high and detail level technical designs, build and test solutions from start to finish. Focus technologies will include SAP C4C (Sales and Services), SAP ISU, SAP SCM and SEW payment solutions, and service-oriented architecture with middleware interfaces.Major Responsibilities:• Collaborate with Technical Lead and Sr. Developer in providing ongoing support and maintenance for SAP C4C, SAP SCM and SAP ISU solutions, troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents, and implementing enhancements as required.• Analyze Business Requirements: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for SAP C4C, SAP SCM and SAP ISU solutions.• SAP ISU Configuration: Collaborate with Technical Lead and Sr. Developer in configuring the SAP ISU module according to business needs, including setting up master data, rates, tariffs, billing cycles, and customer service processes.• Custom Development: Collaborate with Technical Lead and Sr. Developer in developing custom enhancements and functionalities using ABAP programming, including user exits, customer enhancements, and Business Add-Ins.• Collaborate with Technical Lead and Sr. Developer to support integration of SAP ISU with other systems and modules, such as SAP C4C, SAP SCM and SEW or third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process integration.• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.• Prepare technical documentation, including functional and technical specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide training to end-users and support teams.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and infrastructure teams, to ensure effective solution delivery. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.• Stay updated with the latest SAP developments, technologies, and industry trends while delivering innovative solutions and improving processes.• Learn the framework and development methodologies of the SAP C4C (Sales and Services), SAP SCM, SAP CRM, Self-Service Accelerator, DQM, Mind touch, and Marketing concepts.• Learn the integrated solutions utilizing SAP (CPI) cloud-based middleware that connects SAP systems with third-party products.• Learn the Billing processes such as Meter to Cash and Budget Billing• Collaborate with Technical Lead and Sr. Developer to configure Billing Master Data setup, billing, invoicing, rates, and tariffs• Collaborate with Technical Lead and Sr. Developer to build print solutions (billing, invoice, etc) to integrate with SAP ISUPosition Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field with a GPA higher than 3.0• 0 to 2 years of experience in implementation/Support projects• Experience writing code in Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL; knowledge of ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) is a plus• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations• Knowledge of integration techniques• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a hybrid work model• Ability to work at a 24x7 organization with deployments during non-working hoursPosition is hybrid: 3 days onsite in Wall Corporate Office, 2 days remoteNew Jersey Resources is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
