Position Reports To:       Human Resources Manager                       

FLSA Status:                   Hourly 20.00-22.55

  • This is a full-time permanent position eligible for enrollment in company benefit plans after 60 days and 40 hours Vacation after 90 days.
  • Monday-Friday 8:00am -5:00pm

*Position Purpose Summary:  *The Human Resources Representative is responsible for providing support for a wide variety of activities in the human resources department, as well other departments. . In general, this position performs a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative services.  The individual in this position will either be designated as the primary or back up to the principle job responsibilities listed below:

 

Principal Job Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all Food Safety and GMP Policies
  • Creates and distributes departmental communications and documents
  • Assists in setting and arranging meetings for Safety Coordinator
  • Compiles reports and spreadsheets and prepares spreadsheets
  • Creates and distributes company newsletter on a monthly basis
  • Assign lockers to new hires
  • Execute locker inspections
  • Assigns PPE
  • Assigns migrant housing needs
  • Administrates migrant housing contracts
  • Migrant housing inspections
  • Representative for the State inspectors and Licensing personnel for migrant housing
  • Point of contact for Maintenance needs in the migrant housing
  • Responsible for updating Employee communication boards
  • Supports HR Director in various projects
  • Assist in employee recognition events
  • Supports Safety Coordinator in the Info link for all forklift users
  • Be the liaison with new hires ie. Tour facility and hand off to the department managers or supervisors
  • Aid in Orientations

Education and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent experience: high school diploma; GED
  • Years of experience: 2+ years

  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee must sit for long periods of time; ability to handle varying levels of stress.
