Job Title: Welder Fabricator Inspector
Job Description
We are a medium-sized company specializing in the production of overhead cranes as well as job shop work, including systems up to 100ft long. We are looking for a Welder Fabricator Inspector to inspect welding metal components together using brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, plant equipment, and small and large structural weldments.
Responsibilities
Inspect welding metal components using brazing and various arc and gas welding equipment.
Fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, plant equipment, and structural weldments.
Read and interpret prints, engineering drawings, written instructions, manuals, and safety rules.
Work in other areas such as manual machining and assembly as needed.
Operate forklifts, cranes, slings, and hooks safely and proficiently.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in welding, inspection, and quality control techniques.
Experience with MIG welding and fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Experience in assembling and fabricating components.
Ability to lift 75 lbs, crouch, stand, and twist.
3+ years of welding and fabrication inspection experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in manual machining and assembly.
Proficiency in operating forklifts, cranes, slings, and hooks.
Some training will be provided.

Work Environment
The work environment is not climate controlled, and hearing protection is needed. The facility has very large ceilings and venting systems. Required PPE includes a hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.
