BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) on O'ahu. As a home health PTA, you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as outlined by a licensed Physical Therapist.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories

• Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist

• Implement appropriate individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions

• Educate and instruct clients, family members, and other client representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living

• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management

Qualifications for BAYADA PTAs:

• A current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Hawaii

• Have graduated from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, OR

• Have two years of appropriate experience as a PTA and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977

• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
