This position includes Kitchen Manager and teacher assistant/float duties.

Kitchen Manager Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities

1. Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service.
2. Streamlining the kitchen process to maintain prompt service times.
3. Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area.
4. Food prep and cooking.
5. Food plating and temperature.
6. Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g., in refrigerators).
7. Order and/or purchase materials, supplies and ingredients based on demand.
8. Assists in the implementation and management of kitchen and company policies and procedures throughout scheduled shift.
9. Ensures recipe books are up to date with current meals, portions, and ingredients.
10. Anticipates, identifies, and corrects any issues with inventory.
11. Conduct training on meal prep procedures and expectations.

1. Maintain food production menu.

Other:

1. Attend meetings, trainings, and appropriate professional development activities.
2. Assure general maintenance and security of facility.
3. Assist in inventory of all site equipment.
4. Is on time and present for scheduled shift; when unable to work scheduled shift-informs supervisor per policy and find own replacement.
5. Maintains a neat and clean work area, free of hazards.
6. Follows all emergency and safety procedures.
7. Other duties upon request by director or supervisor.
8. Follow Giggles N Grins Child Care dress code.

1. Can lift up to 40 lbs. during the workday.
