We have a fantastic opportunity to join a team within a global business as an Invoicing / Dispatch Clerk to coordinate documentation and completion of loads for all transport on site. This is to ensure compliance with planned time slotting and adherence to chain of responsibility guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with operations, collate, record and update paperwork / software systems accurately to ensure complete auditable tracking for deliveries and customer expectations on deliverables / Invoicing / Pallet Assets.

  • Managing and responding to all stakeholder queries in timely and efficient manner to avoid negative business impacts.

  • Coordinate and facilitate documentation for transport carriers on site.

  • Issue paperwork and allocate to appropriate transport company.

  • Maintain and improve all stakeholder relations - Both internal customers and external customers / security contractors.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy required on Loading / Consigning / Invoicing and Pallet control systems and paperwork.

  • Liaise with Load Planners / Security regarding delays / changes to scheduling and or operational impacts / requirements.

  • Update all data in relation to transport costings.

  • Update data in relation to monitoring temperature control units within the admin area.

  • Update data and create Purchase Order requests.

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a freight / transport / warehouse industry.

  • You possess great flexibility and commitment to meet the dynamic requirements of our customers.

  • Operational experience and an understanding of Supply Chain processes.

  • Possess good communication skills, good time management and prioritisation skills.

  • Can demonstrate ability to work in a fast paced, highly charged environment.

  • Ability to work cross functionally and engage varying stakeholders.

  • Natural problem solver.

  • Possess intermediate Microsoft office skills.

  • Willingness to work in 1-week morning, 1-week afternoon rotating shift.

  • You possess great flexibility and commitment to meet the dynamic requirements of our customers.
