Ridgeview Medical Center Coordinator Staffing II in Waconia, Minnesota
Purpose of Job This position is responsible for coordinating patient care assignments, answering the phone and other administrative duties to support the Home Health Department. Job Functions Coordinates and manages patient care assignments for all Home Health professionals and paraprofessionals. Communicates and coordinates referrals with Intake Staff. Serves as a liaison between clients and staff as well as staff, physicians, pharmacy, lab, supplies and/or messages as appropriate. Provides customer service to internal and external customers by answering inquiries or referring to the appropriate staff personnel. Participates in on-call staffing rotation according to department needs. Assists in record keeping. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Work Experience High school graduate or equivalent Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Detail oriented and organized Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment Ability to work autonomously and as a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above PreferredQualifications Scheduling/staffing experience in a health care system Microsoft Office experience Link to Employee Health Physical Demands Compensation Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity.
