Overview: We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and support our Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and Exchange environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

This is a full time remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and Exchange environments to ensure optimal performance and security.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure continuity.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.

  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to maintain system integrity and security.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.

  • Document system configurations, procedures, and changes to maintain an accurate and comprehensive knowledge base.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing systems.

  • Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to after-hours incidents as needed.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Manage users, groups, and roles within Microsoft Teams.

  • Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Team

  • Configure Teams phone users, call policies and device settings.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot Teams Phones performance and provide technical support to users.

  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Rooms call/meeting quality and performance issues

  • Moves, add, changes pertaining to Microsoft Teams Auto Attendants and Call Queues

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in system administration, specifically with Microsoft 365 Cloud Environment (Including Exchange and Teams).

  • BS/BA degree or additional years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and other administrative tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Certification in Microsoft technologies (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong understanding of communication and collaboration tools

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams administration and support.

  • Mid-level understanding of VoIP protocols
