The primary job function is to manage product engineering activities with the goal to develop successful and compliant component manufacturing processes for the Investcast product line; which includes air investment casting, vacuum investment casting and metal additive manufacturing. This position is responsible for the engineering aspects of the business that ensures project success over the entire product lifecycle; from developmental activities to long-term production improvements. The end goal is to grow the business by maximizing customer satisfaction, quality, profitability and employee satisfaction.

This position will oversee and provide leadership to product engineering staff to directly support product and customer needs. The Product Engineering Manager will mentor engineers to ensure technical growth and advancement. This position will work directly with all departments including Sales, QA, Process Engineering and Operations to support these objectives.

Qualifications

The candidate we seek should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering or similar preferred) with at least 10 years of Investment casting product experience. Strong demonstrated people & project management, analytical, and communication skills are essential. Demonstrated experience with investment cast tooling, aerospace/military investment casting specifications, gating & casting simulation of investment castings, ERP/costing, and dimensional inspection/gage design for GD&T is desired.
