Jennie-O Turkey Store Wash Disinfect Specialist 1st Shift - SE MN Growout/Livehaul in United States

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and assist employees in washing and disinfect turkey facilities.

  • Safe and efficient operation and maintenance of wash truck and trailers.

  • Ensure that company procedures and safety programs are followed.

  • Ensure that the sanitation policies are followed.

  • Complete necessary daily paperwork in a accurate and timely manner.

  • Preventative maintenance on all equipment.

  • Get crew to Company and Contract farms.

  • Follow bio-security policies.

  • Follow company cell phone policy.

  • Keep shop stocked with supplies needed daily.

  • Report any and all defective equipment in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year prior employment or minimum of six months related work experience.

  • Good attendance record.

  • Able to meet Jennie-O Turkey Store Company driving requirements for light duty vehicles.

  • Willing/able to work weekends and/or holidays.

  • Good and previous experienced mechanical ability.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

  • Have a DOT health card, able to follow all DOT rules and regulations.

  • Current Minnesota license.

  • Ability to do basic math.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Able to work occasional Saturdays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational degree related to agriculture.

  • Experience in repair of assets and equipment of poultry production equipment.

  • Good computer skills.

  • A pattern of initiative and leadership.
