Fairway Animal Hospital in Fairway, Kansas is currently looking for a veterinary assistant to join our team. We are a Fear Free and AAHA accredited companion animal hospital with 5 veterinarians. Job responsibilities include general animal care, fear free restraint, upkeep of hospital and entry level duties such as cleaning and stocking. Opportunities to learn more medical procedures such as blood draws, administering medications orally, injectables, and topically, and care of hospitalized patients.

A great Veterinary assistant would have a strong attention to detail, be a team player and have a desire to excel in their work. Veterinary assistants play a vital role in advocating for the patients so they must be able to communicate what they see and must be able to receive feedback to help the patient have the time at the hospital. Veterinary Assistants are the pulse of our hospital.
