Responsibilities

• Technical Writer

• Develop and maintain user and administrative guides that can be used for context-sensitive help within the application.

• Develops, writes, and edits material for project-related reports, minutes, manuals, briefs, instruction books, catalogs, and associated technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance of website, mobile app, eLearning courseware, blogs, and social media.

• Organizes material and completes writing/editing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.

• Maintains records and files of work and revisions.

• As needed, conduct research for a variety of team members, ranging from software/website development, cybersecurity policy, and service desk ITIL-aligned documentation, processes, and procedures.

• Quality Assurance-Functionality Tester

• Design and execute test plans and test cases to thoroughly test website and software functionality.

• Participate in usability testing and provide feedback on user interfaces, workflows, and overall user experience.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies within the team.

• Cybersecurity Analyst

• Assist Information System Security Officer (ISSO) with the development and maintenance of Risk Management Framework (RMF) policy documents.

• Navigate within eMASS to upload artifacts and verify security controls as directed.

• Collaborate and work with ISSO and ISSM (security manager) to perform tasks as directed.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years technical writing experience.

• Experience or exposure to application functionality testing.

• Experience or exposure to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) cybersecurity process.

• Skills & Technology Used

• Moderate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Clearance

• Ability to obtain, and maintain National Agency Check; Public Trust II
