Job Summary

As a Systems Analyst, you will use Web FOCUS 8 to write and develop reports (in both GUI and source code) and create HTML User Interfaces within the Web Focus environment.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, remote, and is a contract position.

What You'll Do

  • Compare actual project procedures to the specified standards and procedures

  • Demonstrate expertise with the most recent and relevant technologies in the Web Focus environment

  • Must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to collaborate with internal and external groups including vendors

  • Reports development utilizing Information Builders' WebFocus

  • User Interface Design / HTML

  • Experience with GUI / User Interface driven by dynamic parameter driven reporting selection criteria, JavaScript / CSS, Business and System Analysis

  • Report Development Skills

  • Demonstrate expertise in teaching, conveying technical and or functional courses and concepts

  • Develop appropriate work programs utilizing time-management effectively with regard to scheduled tasks and assignments

  • Identify improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services and products

  • Analyze user requirements for remaining conversion projects

  • Collaborate with application teams on setting up users, data, etc.

  • Identify and document system defects

  • Communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English

What You'll Need

  • Develop Reports utilizing WebFocus 8 (Information Builders)

  • Ability to follow a UML Diagram provided by an end user in order to create multiple WebReports

  • Experience with the GUI Environment/User Interfaces Built using Dynamic Parameters/Report Selection Criteria

  • Business Flow and Systems Data Analysis/Analytics

  • Understanding/Reading SQL Code and Stored Procedures to Translate to WebReports

  • Building user interfaces utilizing HTML/JAVA script/jQuery/ CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) Highly desired - 2 years

  • Knowledge of WebFocus Security and how it works Desired - 1 years

  • 4 Year College Degree or an equivalent of Technical Study, Required

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
