Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Staffing Coordination Intern to join our team in a remote capacity.

This internship offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in various HR functions, including onboarding, recruitment, and employee relations. The successful candidate will develop strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while contributing to key HR initiatives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating with new hires during the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition

  • Posting job requisitions and assist with the recruitment and hiring process

  • Collaborate with HR managers and team members to develop and implement program hiring initiatives

  • Assist with the organization and planning of employee events and training programs

  • Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation when interacting with new hires and employees.

  • Strong Communication Skills. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, including crafting professional emails and engaging in discussions.

  • Time Management and Organization. Proficiency in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and keeping track of multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Professionalism and Work Ethics. Demonstration of punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

  • Human Resources Knowledge. Ability to learn HR processes, such as onboarding, payroll, and personnel management.

  • Data Entry and Reporting. Competence in organizing and managing information, as well as generating reports.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $46,700-$77,500. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
