As a Staff Learning Experience Consultant, you play a pivotal role in the training organization's education initiatives. Your responsibilities include designing and developing comprehensive educational materials and technical product curriculum for diverse customers and employees through instructor-led and web-based training. Collaborating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams, you'll leverage your expertise to create engaging, effective learning experiences. This role is ideal for passionate instructional Designers looking to advance their careers, serving as a subject matter expert for junior designers to ensure high-quality training materials for Lyric products.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with subject matter experts to define comprehensive learning objectives and content requirements for training programs.
Lead the design and development of web-based training, instructor-led materials, and multimedia resources.
Conduct thorough needs assessments and analyze learner feedback to enhance course content.
Structure training plans and content to create clear, engaging, and highly effective learning experiences.
Apply advanced instructional design principles to ensure interactivity and engagement in learning materials.
Incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, graphics, simulations, and innovative technologies, to elevate the learning experience.

Establish and maintain effective communication channels to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information on training projects.
Design technical training curriculum, addressing various levels of learners in the use of company products, tools, and service offerings.
Collaborate with Product Development teams, Customer Success and other cross-functional teams to define specifications for course content.
Conduct surveys to collect learner feedback, assess learner needs and identify opportunities for future course development.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor within the training team, providing guidance and expertise.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the learning needs, effectively translating them into impactful educational initiatives.
Keep current on industry trends and best practices, incorporating new learning tools and technologies.
Provide LMS admin support, ongoing development, and enhancement of the Learning Management System (LMS).
Upload, organize, and manage learning content, configure features, and deploy integration components.
Collaborate with content creators and subject matter experts to upload, organize, and manage learning content.
Acting as an LMS admin, delivering LMS demonstrations for users and troubleshooting technical issues, providing admin support and guidance.
Provide production support, including issue tracking, assisting users with account setup, login, navigation, and documenting training standards, SOPs, user guides, manuals, and LMS reporting and metrics.
Basic Requirements:
6+ years of experience in designing and developing technical courses, specializing in software/technical training.
3+ years’ experience in virtual and in-person training delivery.
3+ years’ experience using eLearning tools like Adobe Captivate
A bachelor’s degree in adult teaching/training/development, education, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Ability to estimate project sizes and effort.
Proficient in virtual and distance learning, including facilitation and classroom management.
Intermediate proficiency in business software applications: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Confluence, Subversion, SharePoint, and Teams.
Strong requirements and information-gathering skills, with experience in a software/IT environment using Atlassian Jira/Confluence.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Highly collaborative, self-starting problem solver, determining methods and procedures on new assignments.
In-depth knowledge of online learning processes, learning management systems, eLearning development tools, and adult learning technique
Demonstrate strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and compelling content for a variety of purposes, including instructional materials, documentation, and communication with diverse stakeholders.
Certification in instructional design is considered a significant advantage.
*The US base salary range for this full-time position is:
$99,532.80 - $149,299.20
