We are seeking a bright, collaborative, and motivated individual to join our growing Product Management Team who will collaborate with planning, development, and execution of new features and upgrades in the manufacturing and procurement areas of our ERP software, Costpoint.
Do you have a passion for collaborating with designers and software engineers to drive software product innovation? Do you excel at working with internal stakeholders to solve problems? You’ll get involved in understanding enhancement requests, doing market research, writing user requirements, and understanding client needs to work closely with design and engineering in order to translate those requirements into product features. Must be open to Global working hours.
Who You Are
Strong product owner with experience working with Agile processes.
Project management skills with ability to coordinate complex initiatives and manage interrelated components or dependencies.
Prioritization Skills: Ability to prioritize considering business impact and engineering efforts required for resolution.
Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with engineering teams, design and Product Management counterparts.
Adaptability and Learning Agility: The manufacturing landscape and regulations evolves rapidly, so being adaptable and eager to learn and research is crucial.
Manufacturing, MRO and Procurement knowledge a plus
Technical Background: Technical acumen in software engineering with an understanding of software development / agile processes.
Experience operating under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment.
Proven success of building strong working relationships with cross functional teams
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including peer Product Team, Design, Engineering, UX, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Sales to gather requirements, plan, and deliver innovative manufacturing features.
Work with key stakeholders across the organization to define and prioritize requirements for new features and enhancements
Create user stories and detailed specifications for new manufacturing and procurement features
Contribute to a prioritized product roadmap based on market analysis, sales team, and customer feedback
Engage closely with the Release Team and relevant stakeholders to consider client impacts
Document processes, templates, and training materials for new features
Assist in new manufacturing/procurement feature training plans for internal business units
Assist Customer Success organization with collateral supporting the communication of the upgrade process to clients
Create and own product requirements; establishing a business case for overall need and prioritization
Attend daily scrums to help the Engineering team move forward on implementing enhancements
Manage and prioritize bug backlog with key engineering leads
Create release readiness content

Qualifications
5+ years experience in product management or related role
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders’ one on one, and in groups of varying size
Strong problem solving skills to research options and make decision on best path forward
Experience managing the complete product development lifecycle would be a plus
Experience creating product documentation and both internal / external training materials
Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrate curiosity, humility, and empathy in all you do.
A creative self-starter with a bias for action.
