Adentro Sr. Marketing Data Scientist in United States

We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Data Scientist to help our marketing team create data-driven insights and content for our customers. Adentro solves a major problem for brick-and-mortar businesses—the majority of advertising is online, yet over 80% of purchasing still happens offline . Our marketing platform links the two by pairing with the guest WiFi network in physical businesses to automatically track customer visit behavior and collect rich customer data for our merchants to use in their online marketing campaigns.

Do you love working with large datasets? Do you get a thrill from discovering something new or unexpected? We are looking for an analytical, investigative, marketing-minded, articulate Data Scientist to join our Marketing team at Adentro. We are sitting on mountains of data and looking for someone who enjoys “following the breadcrumbs” to uncover compelling insights and stories we can spin into marketing content. This role will essentially take ownership of definition, discovery, and distillation of our data to be used as content. Their work will be the catalyst for PR and marketing campaign creation, thought leadership, and building the Adentro brand.

As a Sr. Marketing Data Scientist you will be responsible for:

  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to see beyond the numbers and identify compelling insights and content opportunities for Marketing

  • Take ownership of data requests from marketing including, but not limited to: PR, social posts, email campaigns, white papers, infographics, etc.

  • Help set up experiments/research and analyze and interpret results

  • Transform large amounts of complex data into business insights and solutions by using the latest technology in machine learning, innovation and analytic methodologies.

  • Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders

  • Lead ongoing decisions concerning data collection, test/study design and data analyses

  • Develop appropriate KPIs for monitoring and measurement of marketing optimization efforts

  • Serve as an internal consultant on analytics and analytical methods.

  • Understanding of statistics (e.g., hypothesis testing, regressions)

  • Experience with various qualitative and quantitative research methodologies such as A/B testing, automated bidding and audience generation, and customer journey.

  • Ability to distill research findings into clear, and compelling data-backed presentations, data visualizations, and/or infographics.

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for a non-technical audience

  • Knowledge in experimentation methods and/or predictive modeling
