Summary

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Automation & Digital will manage, optimize, and ensure the seamless integration of the organization's marketing technology platforms. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the performance of various marketing tools, ensuring data integrity, and enabling the marketing team to leverage the full potential of the marketing technology stack.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Manage and Optimize Marketing Technology Stack:

· Administer, configure, and maintain marketing automation tools, partner with IT to integrate into CRM system, analytics platforms, and other marketing technologies.

· Ensure all tools are integrated seamlessly, supporting marketing campaigns, customer journey tracking, and reporting.

· Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of marketing systems to improve workflow efficiency and system reliability.

  1. Platform Integration & Data Management:

· Oversee the integration of various platforms (e.g., email marketing, lead management, CRM, CMS, social media management tools) to ensure data flows seamlessly between systems.

· Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all marketing platforms and tools.

· Troubleshoot issues related to data syncing, integrations, and overall platform performance.

· Maintain and optimize email templates, landing pages, forms, and other elements within the marketing automation system (Hubspot).

  1. Plan, Manage, and Execute CRM Tactics:

· Leveraging Hubspot, understand business needs to develop email strategies and recommendations to support lead generation, lead nurture, and customer relationship management.

· Own the planning, setup, and execution of email strategy, including ad hoc sends as well as trigger series, while collaborating with key stakeholders.

· Maintain and grow the subscriber list while adhering to global privacy regulations.

  1. Collaboration & Support:

· Work closely with the marketing team to understand needs and provide technical solutions to enhance campaign performance and reporting capabilities.

· Provide training and support to team members on how to effectively use marketing technologies and platforms.

· Serve as the main point of contact for any system-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.

  1. Reporting & Analysis:

· Monitor system analytics to ensure effective data capture and campaign tracking.

· Create reports that measure the performance of marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights based on the data.

· Continuously assess technology performance and propose improvements to enhance capabilities.

  1. Stay Updated on Marketing Tech Trends:

· Continuously research emerging marketing technologies and trends to recommend new tools and upgrades to improve the stack.

· Participate in the evaluation and selection of new marketing technologies that align with business goals.

  1. Digital campaign management

· Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various platforms, ensuring alignment with our marketing goals and budget. Platforms include Google Ads, LinkedIn, and display.

· Manage vendor relationships to include requirement gathering, design/development, testing, and configuration

· Manage paid media vendors to plan, setup, execute, and report on global marketing campaigns

· Conduct audits of B2B competitor brands in and out of category to educate and inspire marketing efforts

· Spot market opportunities to enhance awareness and foster trust with prospects and customers. Analyze marketing data, such as digital media campaign metrics, customer lifetime value (LTV), and conversion rates, to inform the development of future, impactful marketing strategies.

  1. Cross-team collaboration

· Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate all digital marketing efforts and ensure a cohesive online presence

· Coordinate with product owners and head of marketing to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and ensure cohesive brand messaging.

· Support with QA of creative content

· Collaborate with creative to support asset development for marketing campaigns

· Proactively look for ways to support global team marketing initiatives, including: trade shows, events, PR, social media, etc.

· Work with the global team to integrate digital marketing strategies with in-person experiences

· Partner with sales to and product teams to understand business unit needs and opportunities

· Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to uphold adherence to local regulations and corporate identity standards.

Qualifications

· At least 7+ years of experience in B2B Marketing and Marketing Automation

· Proven expertise in HubSpot preferred, similar marketing automation platforms considered

· B2B marketing experience with enterprise-level clients and/or in the packaging, supply chain, or operations category a plus

· Email management experience: calendar creation, trigger series development, best practices, reporting

· Strong project management, organization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.

· Experience in managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.

· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions.

· Demonstrated ownership and enthusiasm with a track record of learning quickly on the job

· Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for growth hacking and driving business success through innovative marketing strategies.

· Experience with A/B testing, list management, segmentation, personalization, growth/acquisition, re-engagement/win-back campaigns, campaign, and customer journeys.

· A relentless drive for personal and professional growth.

· Strength in leading and driving multiple, complex projects simultaneously; Has the ability to oversee the projects including planning, assigning, monitoring progress, and evaluating results.

· Able to work successfully autonomously and within a team environment

· Goal- and detail-oriented: making sure projects are managed, followed up and delivered within time, budget, scope and quality requirements.

· Understanding of digital marketing landscape and best practices with an emphasis on B2B marketing

· Eye for detail: Ability to monitor all aspects and stakeholders of projects to ensure successful completion and seamless implementation.

· Proactive: initiating new marketing activities based on market needs and Ranpak strategy to effectively support sales and grow brand awareness.
