The Global Cloud Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team keeps Deltek Cloud Products working well and available to our customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A consistent leader in the Gartner magic quadrant for ERP solutions, Deltek Cloud Products have a rapidly growing customer base and with that an ever-evolving cloud environment.

Our goal is to constantly improve the availability, reliability, and daily operations of our Deltek Cloud Products and we are seeking Senior Cloud Site Reliability Engineers to join our Infrastructure Operations team. As an SRE for Infrastructure Operations, you should have a strong passion for creating solutions that address complex and recurring issues; put a great focus on eliminating toil, and aim to deliver a highly reliable SaaS experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Service Reliability

a. Develop a solid understanding of platform systems with a focus on IAM (AWS & Azure), DUO, WSUS, and Active Directory

b. Collaborate with service providers in understanding and resolving incidents and performance concerns related to cloud infrastructure

c. Troubleshoot complex problems, provide infrastructure performance analysis, systems fault diagnosis, and resolve operational issues, and performance bottlenecks.

d. Identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and risks associated with platform operations.

e. Analyze and prioritize risks based on their impact and history of occurrence.

• Conduct systems operations and maintenance on a variety of cloud resources both on AWS and Azure

a. Perform daily operations like disaster recovery exercises, capacity management, and change requests.

b. Participating in maintenance activities

• Help mature the Security and Compliance workstream.

a. Develop and maintain a framework for monitoring and ensuring Platform SRE tasks & processes meet the standards & regulations put forth by SOC 2, NIST, and internal organizational policies.

b. Conduct regular compliance assessments and audits of platform systems to identify gaps and areas for improvement.

c. Drive internal and cross-team discussions to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions before they become audit findings.

d. Work closely with other departments, including SRE, DGC Security, and GRC, to foster a culture of security and compliance.

• Define and consistently implement service readiness.

a. Collaborate with Global SRE, Product Delivery, Product Engineering, and Customer Care teams in delivering a true SaaS experience to our customers 24x7

b. Document risk assessment findings, compliance activities, and mitigation efforts in clear and concise reports.

c. Provide regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders on the status of risk assessments and compliance activities.

d. Prepare necessary artifacts & evidence for regulatory submissions, internal audits, and external assessments as required. Work Location:India-RemoteQualifications: Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• 3+ years supporting enterprise application platforms and systems at scale on public cloud infrastructure (preferably on AWS and Azure).

• 3+ years of experience with managing and operating enterprise-grade Windows and Linux production environments

• Strong knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM) processes in both AWS and Azure, Active Directory and Windows server environments

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess risks effectively.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001) and

their implications to platform operations.

• Solid experience and deep understanding of ITSM principles; certification is a plus.

• Experience with operating and integrating one or more of the following solutions: Splunk, ServiceNow, Crowdstrike Endpoint Security, AppDynamics

• Passionate and curious about ways to leverage technology with self-led learning

• Ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
