    Where is this opportunity located?  

    You will have the flexibility to work remote from a U.S. home office, a campus location, or both.  Current U.S. campus locations include Brookings or Sioux Falls, SD.  This position is open to candidates eligible to work in the U.S.       Candidate must have the ability to travel to Brookings, SD during interview process and/or during first 6 months of employment.

    What will work look like for me?  

  • Develop and maintain full stack software applications utilizing most of the following:  

  • Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript.

  • C#, Microservices, Kubernetes, .Net Core, Azure, REST, OpenAPI.

  • JSON, XML, SQL, and related technologies.

  • Work in Team centric environment grounded in Agile values and principles continuously evolving our practices:  

  • Iterative development in Sprint based cycles.  

  • Scrum Stand-ups and Product Backlog Planning Events.  

  • Continuous Integration and Delivery Pipelines.  

  • Frequent product demonstrations and integration events with stakeholders/customers to gather and incorporate feedback.  

  • Troubleshoot and address customer escalations and improvement opportunities.  

  • Actively participate in frequent design and architecture reviews.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering or Computer Science or related field with advanced programming curriculum.  

  • 6+ years industry experience in Software development using an object-oriented language.  

  • Demonstrated expert knowledge in a technical practice area.

  • Approachable, respected engineer by both peers and leaders with demonstrated mentorship.  

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, and building effective relationships.  

  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.  

  • Be self-motivated and curious to learn and grow throughout your entire career.  

  • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgement.  

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
