How You’ll Make an Impact

Epsilon is seeking a Senior SEM Strategist to join our strong and steady Automotive SEM team. Senior SEM Strategists are our resident paid search experts, responsible for keeping on top of trends, developments, and best practices and putting them to optimal use for each client’s paid search campaigns. The Senior SEM Strategist will report to the Director, Campaign Operations. You will work with brand-name automotive OEMS and dealer groups who demand and recognize excellence. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team working together to ensure client needs are anticipated and met through execution.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Impact : You will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Design, implementation, and execution of paid search strategy

  • Day-to-day optimization of campaigns

  • Implementation of ad-hoc client requests

  • Acting as a paid search POC for your assigned clients by answering client emails and leading weekly calls

  • Project management on accounts you own.

  • Career Growth : If successful, the Senior SEM Strategist may gain exposure to other clients where you can make the most impact. Also, you may have an opportunity to level up to a Lead role helping to mentor more junior strategists.

Who You Are

  • What you’ll bring with you :

  • Ability to drive paid search strategy for your clients

  • Experience designing, implementing, and executing clients’ paid search campaigns

  • Experience with daily optimization efforts to achieve your client’s performance targets & goals

  • Campaign monitoring to ensure the account is pacing well relative to budgets and targets

  • Design & implementation of ad-hoc client requests for campaign builds, creative rollouts, reporting requests, and other needs

  • Activate relevant audiences supplied by the client

  • Staying current with Google and Facebook new features and best practices

  • Initiative – Implementing testing initiatives in key areas such as ad creatives, audience segmentation, placements, and networks

  • Problem Solving – Configure required campaign templates to streamline dynamic campaign creation & maintenance

  • Collaboration – Coordinating with engineering to facilitate technology implementations that drive client and operational efficiency

  • Organization – Work and prioritize within timelines; coordinate work-steams across teams and channels

  • You will need to have more than SEM experience; you will need to have the drive to work independently and the communication skills to work as part of a thriving team.

  • Why you might stand out from other talent :

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience working in Paid Search

  • Working experience within Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics for paid media marketing objectives

  • Certifications within Google Ads and Microsoft

  • Knowledge of 3rd party bid-management tools

  • Experience with call tracking systems & implementations

  • Proven track-record: past projects were consistently successful (i.e., met the consumer's need, met business objectives, delivered on-time with no/few surprises)
