About the Position:

The Senior Director of Clinical Services is a leadership role responsible for driving the organization's business objectives as they relate to the clinical team while overseeing all aspects of clinical operations. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Practice Growth, this position shapes the clinical direction of the organization with input from the Chief Clinical Officer, ensuring optimal patient experience, outcomes, and fostering a culture of clinical excellence. With a primary focus on maintaining and enhancing clinical policies, procedures, quality control measures, and advanced provider experience, the Senior Director leads a dedicated team responsible for provider education, community engagement, development, and the continuous improvement of clinical practices across all service lines. Additionally, this role is integral in nurturing key vendor relationships to ensure the availability of resources necessary for clinical operations and innovation. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Design and implement clinical strategies, plans, and procedures aligned with the VP Practice Growth, COO, and CEO's direction.

  • Set comprehensive goals and key metrics for performance and growth, emphasizing clinical excellence and patient outcomes.

  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision, with a strong emphasis on clinical quality, patient experience and provider experience.

  • Ensure a delightful, repeatable, and scalable clinical experience is delivered to patients.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and inspire the clinical team to encourage maximum performance, dedication, and adherence to established protocols.

  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors to ensure alignment with clinical standards and objectives.

  • Attend national trainings with Chief Clinical Officer and Clinical Team

  • Work in conjunction with Provider Success Manager to disseminate Quarterly Productivity reports and implement of remedial plans.

  • Lead a successful product and service launch clinical strategy.

Clinical Oversight and Improvement:

  • Drive profitability by optimizing clinical operations and enhancing service line offerings.

  • Implement ongoing education and development initiatives to nurture and grow provider clinical skills and support the growth of all service lines and skincare offerings.

  • Provides clinical oversight to all training operations and manages support from clinical team.

  • Lead and interact with Continuing Medical Education vendor to ensure optimization.

Provider Retention and Development:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance provider satisfaction, engagement, and retention.

  • Conduct regular assessments of provider needs and preferences to tailor development and support programs accordingly.

  • Oversee the community program for providers, facilitating engagement, motivation, and knowledge-sharing among peers.

  • Manage tasks related to the annual retreat with the Chief Clinical Officer, focusing on clinical strategy and innovation.

  • Vet external resources and webinars to support ongoing education and development efforts for providers.

Collaboration with Training and Practice Growth Teams:

  • Work closely with training administrative team and operations to ensure the success of providers through effective onboarding, training, and ongoing support initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in clinical practices.

External Representation and Engagement:

  • Participate in stakeholder meetings, events, and conferences to represent the organization and advocate for clinical excellence and innovation.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative in clinical practices.

Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with key vendors to ensure the availability of necessary resources and support for clinical operations.

  • Collaborate with vendors to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and innovation in clinical services.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing for products and services along with the COO.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in Aesthetic Medicine or comparable Healthcare leadership role working directly with Advanced Practice Providers.

  • Prior experience as a national aesthetic trainer working directly with Allergan, Galderma, Merz, Revance, Ravenesse or other preferred.

  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking, strategic, and analytical skills to drive effective results.

  • Exhibit strong leadership ability.

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to execute and implement initiatives.

  • Communicate ideas effectively to inspire.

  • Uphold unsurpassed integrity, ethics, judgment, maturity, and accountability.

  • Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures as directed by the VP, Practice Growth, and COO.

  • Set comprehensive goals and key metrics for performance and growth.

  • Establish policies that promote the company culture and vision as set by the CEO.

  • Lead Team Members to encourage maximum performance and dedication.

  • Drive profitability.

  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly stakeholder meetings.

  • Represent the organization as needed for large functions, events, meetings, key stakeholder conferences, or other internal and external functions.

  • Actively seek deep knowledge of the company's markets and industry.

  • 15-25% travel required.

  • Jointly own provider communication with the VP, Practice Growth.
