Job Location: Remote * Job Overview:* As the Sr Customer Planning Analyst, you will serve as an important member of our Sales Strategy & Enablement Customer Planning Team. This role will support the Sales & Sales Planning organization with customer planning & trade optimization responsibilities. The Sr Analyst will be responsible for providing accurate analysis relative to trade volume forecasting and assisting with inputs into Hershey’s trade planning systems. This role can be REMOTE, but will require occasional business travel as needed to and from corporate meetings, customer engagements if needed and Hershey corporate office. * Responsibilities:* · Ensures all trade volume is forecasted and updated accurately in a timely fashion with the PlanEx system. Provides an accurate analysis relative to trade volume forecasting and supports Sales Planning in building monthly reports to track team performance vs. Annual Operating Plan · Supports CSEs in monthly trade management/forecasting process and is efficient in Hershey’s internal systems and processes. Partner cross functionally to ensure customer forecasts are achieving estimate and reporting accurately (Forecast Accuracy, Trade Management) · Collaborates with customer management team and sales agency partners to ensure promotional plans represent accurate volume forecasts and all customer promotional spending liability is loaded correctly within PlanEx to drive correct accruals with finance · Assists Customer Teams with information flow into customer’s systems in partnership with Global Business Services · Lead trade promotion analytics with customer management and broker teams (if applicable) to provide additional insights into trade and promotional efficiencies (TPO) · Assists Customer Teams and Sales Planning in monthly account planning deliverables (ebuf, pricing actions, etc) including forecast data and planning insights for key customer meetings as well as internal leadership meetings as needed. * Requirements* * Core Competencies* · Sales Opportunity Analysis- Understands and utilizes economic, financial, industry, and organizational data; accurately diagnoses customers forecast plan & cross functionally partners on TPO analytics and insights · Builds Trusting Relationships- Uses appropriate interpersonal styles to establish effective relationships with various partners; interacts with others in a way that promotes openness and trust and gives them confidence in one’s intentions. Ability to multi task, and organize all aspects of your work, while paying close attention to all detail/timelines. · Driving for Results- Setting high goals for personal and group accomplishment; using measurement methods to monitor progress toward goals; tenaciously working to meet or exceed goals while deriving satisfaction from that achievement and continuous improvement. * Qualifications* · 3 years of CPG sales support or marketing analysis experience and Bachelor’s Degree. · Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) including ability to utilize pivot tables, V-lookups, filters, and summarize data graphically. · Comfortable learning and working with a variety of technology tools (ERP systems, Trade and Demand management systems, Reporting and ad-hoc data retrieval tools); Experience with TPM systems is desired · Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to build stakeholder trust in your approach. · Decision Making within ambiguous circumstances/absence of complete data · Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to lead thinking in a fast-paced and changing environment. #LI-AM1 The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
