About the role:

As a member of the Category Stewardship Team, this role will be primarily focused on providing analytical support to assist in the development of Liquid I.V. sales and category management initiatives. This position will utilize data to analyze performance, identify insights, and provide recommendations across key channels and customers. The Sales Planning Analyst will also be responsible for updating existing reports and presentations as well as creating new ones. To be successful, the person in this role will need to be a creative self-starter who is detailed orientated with a strong desire to succeed.

Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Analyze data from multiple sources to derive compelling, actionable insights

  • Assist in the development of critical Category Stewardship initiatives, such as assortment and shelving optimization

  • Support the internal Liquid I.V. sales organization, field sales, and internal business stakeholders with ad-hoc projects and requests

  • Maintain Liquid I.V.’s internal repository of brand, consumer, customer, and competitive insights

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners on assigned projects

  • Update, analyze, and recap weekly, monthly, and quarterly tracking reports, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent is preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in category management, product development or planning at a CPG company (or applicable experience).

  • Highly proficient in Excel and experience with PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated experience in working with large data sets.

  • Ability to analyze data and identify insights and provide recommendations.

  • Experience in creating tools for managing data and identify insights.

  • Self-Starter who is creative, yet has strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

  • Experience using MS Office, MS Outlook and other MS applications.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid / Office environment with flexibility for industry events. Liquid I.V. strives to support and create a flexible working environment. This role will require some time in the office. Travel will be approximately 10%.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The expected base salary range for this position is $72,000 to $90,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
