What You'll Do
As an incoming Preventative Maintenance service engineer, you will learn our products, services and what makes our customer service #1. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and support, as well as classroom training at the FANUC Academy. In this role, depending on your location you may be requested to work remote or report to one of our service centers across the US. You will travel within a region to our customer sites to perform on-site maintenance services, repair, troubleshooting, and programming for our robots and related systems on a scheduled, unscheduled, or on an emergency basis.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Perform preventive maintenance services.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robot operation systems and analyze problems
Document robot performance and failure modes
Coordinate activities pertaining to repairs to ensure customer expectations are being met
Report daily customer requests and progress to the service manager
Communicate frequently with employees and customers to provide rapid customer response times to ensure customer satisfaction
Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate's degree or Technician certificate in an electrical, mechanical, mechatronics or equivalent technical on the job experience
Working knowledge in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic troubleshooting and repair of robots
Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license
Must be able to drive throughout the organizations service area for business as required
Ability to be organized and work independently
Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic prints and related technical documentation
Effectively communicate with customers and support staff in person, via phone or email
Produce clear and concise written documentation on any service provided
Have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license
Travel as required
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000.
