Avania is hiring - Project Delivery Manager M/W/D - Strategic Consulting / Emerging Technology Projects

This is newly created role in our Strategic consulting team, supporting new and emerging technology projects, an exciting opportunity to join the team.

The Project Delivery Manager (PDM) role will provide oversight to project teams and assists with management of the day-to-day operations while delivering projects on time, within budget, and of the highest quality. The PDM will oversee the appropriate resourcing of a project and compliance with project and service-area plans. The Project Delivery Manager position will assist with the project operational and financial forecasts and trend analysis.

The main responsibility of this key position is to oversee both client management and clinical trial deliverables. This includes maintaining and developing relationships with assigned customers, providing leadership as the 'go to person' for issues both internal and external, that require resolution.

We seek -

  • Bachelor Degree in Biology or related work experience

  • A minimum of 7 years in clinical research

  • A minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated leadership as a PM, clinical lead, functional lead, in clinical research, in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or device industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the role.

  • Extensive experience for financial oversight of a global clinical development program is desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues by using independent judgment to assess the situation, quickly formulate potential solutions, and present options for resolution.

  • Excellent people skills and the ability to present yourself and your ideas confidently in a variety of settings.

  • Proven history of working within a cross-departmental team with primary focus on creating and maintaining client satisfaction.

  • Good organizational, time-management, and planning skills, competency in risk management with thoughtful action planning

  • Ability to perform in a high pressure, challenging and changing environment

  • Flexible and adaptable, but focused and persistent

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

  • A team player with developing leadership skills

  • Client-focused, with attention to output and details
