About the Role

At ASSA ABLOY Door Group Pty Limited, there is currently an opportunity to advance your career and join a dynamic commercial project management team as a Project Administrator based in Perth. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will manage commercial construction projects to maximize profit and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Review the project information, pricing, and client requirements.

  • Determine product information from plans, specification, schedules and associated information.

  • Establish a project program for detailing, manufacture delivery and (if required) installation.

  • Prepare manufacture orders (job sheets) with all required information to enable manufacture.

  • Ensure goods are manufactured and delivered to the client as planned.

  • Establish and manage subcontract site installation and costs.

  • Action client site instructions, raise variation requests as required and follow up approvals.

  • Compile invoice and progress claim information and forward to accounts department.

  • Reconcile project sales and costs, resolve variances and obtain client deed of release.

  • Respond promptly to customer complaints and follow through to a mutual resolution.

  • Provide the Project Manager with reports on project(s) schedules and progress.

  • Compile and maintain project files. Keep records of the projects and ensure the information is accurate and easily retrieved.

    About You

    You have a keen and 'can do' attitude; excellent telephone manner, willingness to learn on the job, ability to communicate with clients, specifiers and subcontractors, sound level of skill in the use of windows suite of tools. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum 1-3 years previous experience in project Management, preferably with construction projects in respect to the supply and installation of commercial products.

  • High level of written and verbal communication required.

  • Good level of skill in the use of personal computers and programs.

  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong administration skills – organised, thorough, systems orientated with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Good understanding of project management processes.

    Salary Range is between $80,000 - $90,000
