TCS Education System Product Marketing Manager in United States

Job Description:

The Marketing Manager, Product, reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, Brand Management, will primarily focus on product (program) management and strategic planning for key initiatives within The Community Solution Education System’s institutions.

The Marketing Product Manager plays a crucial role in program management and strategic planning within The Community Solution Education System's institutions. By leveraging their product knowledge, marketing expertise , and data insights, they develop effective strategies to enhance program marketing performance. With a focus on program launches, performance monitoring, target audience identification, and competitive analysis, the Marketing Product Manager drives the success of program marketing initiatives while maintaining compliance and ensuring alignment with academic plans.    

The ideal candidate will be a confident collaborator with strong leadership skills, capable of managing projects and tasks of various complexities. They will be responsible, data-driven, and possess excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities. With the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, the Marketing Product Manager, will maintain a positive attitude and exhibit initiative, good judgment, and trustworthiness.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:   

Program Database:  

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive program database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.  

  • Communicate changes to the marketing team in a timely manner to facilitate effective marketing efforts.  

    Value Attributes and Differentiators:  

  • Identify key value attributes and differentiators for each program.  

  • Enhance potential student consideration during the enrollment journey by effectively communicating the unique benefits of each program.  

    Program Launch Coordination:  

  • Coordinate program launch activities, including the creation of marketing plans, training admission teams, and organizing support materials.  

  • Ensure a smooth and successful program launch by providing necessary resources and guidance.  

  • Ensure team leads the PMR process and implementation across marketing department.  

  • Planning marketing support and promotion of all product launches, as well as accreditation updates, across channels and audiences.  

  • Ensure effective positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.  

    Program Performance Monitoring:  

  • Monitor program performance, analyzing campaign performance and market response.  

  • Suggest adjustments and improvements in collaboration with leadership to optimize program outcomes.  

    Market Opportunities and Target Audiences:  

  • In partnership with agency partners and the Associate Director Consumer and Market Insights, identify market opportunities and target audiences specific to each program.  

    Positioning and Messaging:  

  • Liaison with academic SEMs at each institution to ensure marketing department has full knowledge and understanding of program attributes, differentiators, and outcomes.  

  • Assist in identifying faculty thought leaders for specific marketing collateral and programmatic initiatives.  

  • Collaborate with marketing team members to ensure effective positioning and messaging of the programs.  

  • Maintain consistency in messaging across channels and brand assets to reinforce program benefits and value proposition.  

    Project Briefs:

  • Develop project briefs to guide program-related initiatives.  

  • Oversee all aspects of these projects to ensure successful execution, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.  

    Website and Digital Compliance:  

  • Ensure program pages on the website and digital third-party listings are kept up to date and compliant.  

  • Provide accurate and compelling program information to attract prospective students.  

    Competitive Landscape Analysis:  

  • Monitor the competitive landscape by analyzing research on competitor programs, pricing strategies, and market trends.  

  • Identify opportunities and threats to inform marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.  

    Institutional Knowledge:  

  • Maintain a deep understanding of upcoming academic plans and program modifications.  

  • Align marketing efforts accordingly to effectively promote new programs and modifications.  

    Required Qualifications:  

    Knowledge and Skills :

  • Solid understanding of advertising principles and tactics throughout multiple forms of media.

  • Proven background in managing multiple projects simultaneously and ability to drive forward with a variety of audiences.

  • Skilled communicator with excellent verbal, written, presentation skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.

  • Must have solid proficiency with MS Office software – particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in the use of web content management tools and systems.

    Education:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or greater in marketing, communications, business, journalism, or related concentration.

    Experience:  

  • Minimum 4-6 years marketing experience with practical responsibilities across multiple marketing disciplines; higher education and academic management experience a plus.

  • Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives .

Compensation & Benefits

This opportunity is budgeted at $70,000 - 74,000 base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
