The Product Manager is responsible for the Physical Identity Solutions product throughout its product lifecycle. Identity solutions include productized components for 4 different areas (enrollment, adjudication, personalization and issuance).

The qualified candidate will own and execute the product roadmap for the Physical Identity Solutions product, HID Integrale, gaining insight from current customers, sales team, market research, and industry bodies to provide clear direction for a market leading, secure, innovative product suitable for current and future customer needs.

You will write epics focusing on target business value and provide support for developing user stories, maintain and prioritize the product backlog, track releases, participate in scrum meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives as well as supporting the development team with any questions they may have.

The Product Manager shall have excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate the product vision clearly at all levels of the organization.

As our Product Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Manage Market Requirements to identify essential features and value-add options.

  • Define MVP and differentiation options ensuring their refinement and continuous assessment with the software delivery team.

  • Provide insights to stakeholders on the product and market.

  • Translate business strategy into product strategy for Physical Identity Solutions Software.

  • Define and build a global roadmap based on key market trends and compelling opportunities that differentiates HID as a global leader in the electronic identity document market, establishing key KPI’s to drive the business.

  • Provide leadership in creating technology strategies based on well-defined best practices, processes, training, sales and support.

  • Coordinate, schedule and plan product releases with a cross functional team.

  • Carry out product launches, working closely with Product marketing, Sales and Marketing team.

  • Conduct regular meetings with strategic suppliers, sales management, and marketing counterparts to discuss and track progress on business and marketing plans and any open issues.

  • Manage product profitability and commercial success, providing regular reports up to the VP, Identity Solutions.

  • Provide product marketing, marketing, sales and bid teams with information on key differentiators and messages for the product.

  • Write product requirements in the form of high-level descriptions, user stories and epics in line with HID standard approach.

  • Provide timely information for reporting to technology council and other relevant forums.

  • Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues to ensure continuous improvement and enhancements to the product.

  • Provide end to end solution demonstrations in person and remotely to internal and external audiences.

    What we will love about your background:

  • Able to demonstrate experience in delivering product strategy and innovation resulting in market introduction, adoption, and significant revenue streams.

    Your Experience and Education include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a relevant field..

  • 5 years’ experience working as a product manager with sole responsibility for a multi-million-dollar global software product as part of a solution or working in Identity Solutions software and products with the ability to demonstrate relevance to this role.

  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodology, Ideally SAFe Agile certification.

  • Experience working with international customers a must.

  • Experience working in Global Identity Solutions an advantage.

  • Ability to analyze complex problems working with multiple inputs to determine the most appropriate direction for the product.

  • Capacity to learn quickly and understand complex technologies and how they relate to customer needs, market trends and user behaviors.

  • Ability to provide leadership and authority on the product vision and roadmap.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to deliver presentations to large audiences.

  • Ability to understand both business and technical needs, analyze market and technical data and identify trends.
