Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Job Description: This position requires the ability to multitask within a high-volume concierge contact center setting. The pharmacy technician will assist in providing pharmacy services. Other related skills may be required to perform this job. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Two years pharmacy experience working under a license pharmacist or completion of certified pharmacy technical program. Working knowledge of third-party claims process. Please see job description for a more thorough listing of requirements for this position. Top 3 Required Skills/Experience: Ability to process Coverage Determination Requests within CMS Timeframes. Ability to communicate all pharmacy benefits both verbally and written. Ability to have strong attention to detail while multitasking within a high demand environment. Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience. Include: Minimum 2 years of experience in Pharmacy Retail, PBM, Hospital, Managed Care Experience with Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access) Knowledge of prescription drug names, therapeutic classes and claims processing Knowledge of Privacy Regulations Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include: Medicare Part D Experience Contact Center Experience Knowledge of CMS/NCQA regulations Knowledge of pharmacy claims processing Education/Certifications – Include: High School Diploma 2 years of college preferred.
