U.S. Navy - Agency Wide PAINTER LEADER (EXPERT) in United States

Summary You will serve as a Painter Leader (Expert) in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY. You will serve as an Expert Painter leading a group to ensure work assignments are completed. This position is located in Shop 71. Applicants will only be considered for positions within their own UIC. For example: If you are within UIC 4523A, you will only be considered for positions within 4523A. Responsibilities You will perform abrasive blast on the exterior and interior of ships and submarines above and below ground level from various heights. You will perform just-in-time diagnostic and troubleshooting to prevent loss of product. You will ensure other workers follow instructions received from supervisors to meet deadlines. You will assure safety and housekeeping rules are followed (for example, assuring that limits of safe machine operation are not exceeded and that all tools are used properly). You will ensure that needed plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available, and that needed stock is obtained from supply locations.
