Role context and description

The Moovimenta Group is a Swiss based, family-owned organization with Revenues exceeding 850M CHF and 5000 employees. The Group currently comprises four Divisions: Habasit, Rossi, NGI and TRAPO. In addition to our four Divisions, the Group functions also host our Corporate Accelerator, based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Our ambitious path will require substantial investments in the coming years in new technologies and in concentric businesses to our existing Divisions. The incumbent will be engaged in all aspects of the Group’s growth through mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including M&A oversight and leadership for projects.

Your main challenges:

• Conduct market research and analysis into industry and technology prospects, gathering information and producing long-lists of potential targets and then applying screening criteria to produce shortlists

• Define and develop Strategic Rationale for M&A projects. Assist others to develop their Strategic Rationale. Present Strategic Rationale to Group’s M&A Steering Committee and Board of Directors

• Engage with targets: preparing pitches to targets, manage NDAs, drafting LOI, liaison with owners and managers at target companies

• Create M&A investment proposals: from financial, strategic and risk perspectives. Critically evaluate the Investment Proposals created within our Divisions

• Smooth running of live M&A projects: organizing legal and financial due diligence, legal contracting, etc. There is not an in-house team to provide these deal services, and instead external advisors are frequently used, based from the location of the transaction and the incumbent will manage the services of these advisors

• Create and critique Integration Plans, and monitor their successful implementation

• Undertake Post-Investment-Appraisals

• Monitor and maintain portfolio analysis of the Group-wide funnel of M&A opportunities and projects, and present of a regular basis Conduct market research and analysis into industry and technology prospects, gathering information and producing long-lists of potential targets and then applying screening criteria to produce short-lists.

What we look for

Your education and experience

• University degree followed by professional qualification with highly recognized finance body

• Significant experience in either bank/M&A boutique or Industrial Group (within an internal M&A function) • Ideally experience in manufacturing/industrial areas with international exposure

• Comprehensive knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements related to M&A activities

• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Your personality • Team player with exceptional communication skills

• Highly proactive and flexible to change

• Self-managed with a strong sense of ownership

• Hands-on attitude with a problem-solving mentality

• Creative and innovative mindset
