ICONMA, LLC Mechanical Quality Assurance Engineer in United States

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols for mechanical components and assemblies.

  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies to verify compliance with specifications and standards.

  • Perform root cause analysis of mechanical failures and non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Collaborate with design engineering to ensure that new products and designs meet quality and reliability requirements.

  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on potential quality risks and mitigation strategies.

  • Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years of practical hands-on experience in electromechanical products manufacturing environments.

  • Experience with quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), measurement systems analysis (MSA)

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Practical hands-on knowledge with Metrology.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in mechanical drawings comprehension, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and Client workspace apps (including Docs, Sheets, Slides).

    Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification.

  • Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (including Process Capability Index Cpk).

  • Experience with automated inspection systems and equipment, such as CMM (Coordinate-Measuring Machine) and LIBS (laser induced breakdown spectroscopy).
