Job Description

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for a variety of responsibilities in the Distribution Center. These responsibilities may include receiving, maintaining, and shipping product. Shift hours are 3:15pm to 2:00am on a four day per week rotating schedule.

Job Responsibilities

  • Pack inventory and prepare for shipment. This may include loading pallets, banding the package, shrink wrapping, etc.

  • Utilize an RF Scanner on a daily basis to complete orders.

  • Verify inventory accuracy.

  • The ability to operate a shipping manifest system.

  • Transport product via the use of forklifts.

  • Compare packing slips and shipping documents to inventory.

  • Work in a timely manner to meet production standards established for various finished goods.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail throughout daily activities.

  • Maintain a clean work area to meet safety regulations of the facility.

  • Work in a team environment to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.

Basic Qualification

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Ability to lift at least 100 lbs.

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and push or pull parts or containers frequently.

  • Must be physically capable of operating a forklift. Training is provided to obtain certification.

  • Ability to read and understand job instructions.

  • Ability to perform basic level math functions.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, essential functions assessment, and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Distribution or warehouse experience preferred.

  • Forkift experience preferred.
