The Manager, Technical Services will be responsible for overseeing, empowering, and developing the data services team for all aspects related to technical services data conversions. The incumbent is expected to understand modern conversion options and work with teams to identify and implement an integration toolset. This position is responsible for the design, development and operations of the systems-to-system data conversion process, interfaces, dataflows, and integration middleware

Your Role:

  • Team Management: Plan & manage Data conversion projects including timeline, resources, and budgets.

  • Data Analysis: Assess and prepare data for conversion, identifying and addressing discrepancies or issues.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to gather requirements and provide updates.

  • Quality Assurance: Implement testing procedures to verify data integrity and resolve conversion-related issues.

  • Technical Expertise: Utilize tools and software for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of conversion processes and procedures.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field

  • 3+ years of direct supervisory experience with technical delivery team(s)

  • 3+ years of Healthcare technology experience; Data Conversions; interface/integration design/implementation; practice management, laboratory, and hospital data workflow;, HL7and Medical Device knowledge

  • ETL Tools: Proficiency in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Microsoft SSIS

  • Database Management: Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like SQL Server.Oracle, or MySQL

  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with major cloud platforms and storage solutions such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) and S3, Microsoft Azure and Blob storage, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Maintains a positive and open attitude to change with an ability to adapt to new situations

  • Reporting Tools: Understanding of reporting tools and dashboards, such as Tableau or Power BI, for data visualization and reporting preferred

  • Data Quality Tools: Experience with data quality and profiling tools to ensure data accuracy and consistency is preferred

  • System Integration: Knowledge of system integration processes and APIs for connecting disparate systems is preferred

  • Project Management Software: Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Asana, or Microsoft Project for tracking progress and managing tasks

  • Strong business acumen and vendor partner relationship management

  • An excellent understanding of SDLC methodology
