Position Summary

HuFriedyGroup, enables dental professionals to reduce risk, improve efficiencies, drive compliance, and enhance patient and staff safety. At HuFriedyGroup, we are committed to helping dental professionals perfect their craft and deliver the highest level of care to each patient.

The Machine Operator role, with moderate assistance and oversight from team leadership, has overall responsibility for setting up, adjusting, and operating a variety of production machinery to produce high quality finished products.

Duties

  • Responsible for understanding and complying with all company and department related safety practices including wearing required PPE, following machine safety protocols, and notifying site leadership of unsafe working conditions.

  • Responsible for self-monitoring the quality of manufactured product(s) and notifying department leadership if quality practices cannot be met or maintained.

  • Set-up Machines to start a production cycle or change overs. Control and adjust machine settings and or tooling if needed.

  • Must Adhere to defined Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Responsible for meeting established run rates and machine standards.

  • Responsible for maintaining lean practices at their workstation. Contribute ideas for making work Safer, Easier, Better, and Faster.

  • Must be able to read as well as apply instructions and specifications from a variety of sources including Work Instructions, Drawings, Machine Manuals, and Inspection Checklists while manufacturing product.

  • Maintain activity logs and hour by hour boards.

  • Responsible for minor troubleshooting on manufacturing machinery and communicating with Supervision when necessary.

  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet the objectives of the facility.

Job Details

Schedule:

2:45pm - 11:15pm, Monday - Friday

Education Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

  • Experience working manufacturing environment.

  • Attention to detail and ability interpret and follow written instructions.

  • Experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

  • Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Must be able to read and interpret work instruction documents.

  • Must be able to use measuring instruments. Ex. Tape Measure

  • Must have strong ability to learn new processes and techniques.
