The Public Affairs and Global Communications team is a committed and creative team that contributes to the company’s success through strategic communications, social responsibility, and public affairs initiatives.

The role we are offering you:

Working hand in hand with our Defense & Security business unit, you will have the opportunity to lead various communications initiatives.

Are you ready to design, develop, and execute communication plans (both internal and external) that deliver consistent, impactful messaging across channels, while actively supporting the achievement of key business objectives?

Join us, and have the opportunity to:

  • Draft and distribute internal communications (notices, news articles, stories, etc.) to be shared across internal channels, supporting employee engagement and in alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop strategic executive communications for the Division President and regional Vice Presidents, ensuring consistent messaging to all internal stakeholders.

  • Craft and/or oversee the creation of internal content, including notices, articles, videos, and internal presentations for Town Halls, Lunch and Learns, and other internal events.

  • Act as the main point of contact for D&S International content for company-wide, all-hands meetings, such as CEO, COO, and Division Presidents’ town halls.

  • Work closely with marketing colleagues to design and implement external communication strategies to promote CAE’s D&S International initiatives and drive positive brand awareness across channels.

  • Draft and/or support the publishing of external content such as general media press releases, or corporate blogs, articles, and social media updates.

  • Collaborate with external media and stakeholders to elevate CAE’s profile in key markets.

  • Lead the communication efforts for internal and external corporate events, ensuring alignment with CAE’s overall communications strategy.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing Communications, or related discipline.

  • 8-12 years’ experience in corporate or marketing communications.

  • Bilingual with excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills in English and French.

  • Strategic, customer-focused mindset.

  • Experience in communications planning and project management.

  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects and meet strict deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills, sense of autonomy and self-discipline.

  • Ability to show initiative, autonomy and creativity.
