Pay Range: $67,670 to $98,799

What you’ll be working on:

The IT Infrastructure Technical Analyst is a critical team member of the Savers’ Infrastructure PMO team and serves in an IT-wide capacity. This role works collaboratively with IT teams and stakeholders and is responsible to research, analyze, validate, and document technical requirements in support of a project. This effort is to ensure those requirements clearly define engineering needs and correctly represent the success criteria of all stakeholders. This role bridges the work between the Infra PMO, customers, engineering and other IT teams while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.

The IT Technical Analyst will have a breadth of IT knowledge that can be used to target areas within an infrastructure engineering plan that need greater review or development investments. The role will utilize exceptional customer service, entry-level project management skills, along with effective communication and collaboration, to assist in successfully delivering infrastructure engineering solutions. This role reports to the Manager, Carrier Strategies.

Essential Job Functions:

The IT Technical Analyst is responsible for analyzing the success criteria defined by a project team/stakeholder and using that information to establish which IT engineering activities are necessary to meet the projects goals and objectives. This role will partner with Program Managers to coordinated management of those activities and may also act as an engineering contributor driving the execution of activities as needed.

Key IT Technical Analyst Responsibilities

  • Work tickets related to store outages, completing intake, triage, solutioning, and implementing fixes in a detailed and timely manner in coordination with operations management.

  • Synthesize and analyze network performance information from various sources and teams regarding [x systems or processes] to identify trends, opportunities, gaps, and risks.

  • Lead requirements analysis, validation, and verification, ensuring requirements are complete, consistent, and concise.

  • Identify and guide to delivery user journey’s, epics, and stories that delivery solutions per success criteria.

Additional Responsibilities (as coordinated with PMO):

  • Communication Management: Ensures timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and ultimate disposition of program information.

  • Scope / Change Management: Controlling what is included and not included in the program while ensuring all work required to complete the program is successfully included.

  • Solution Architecture: Ensures that the solutions meet success criteria.

  • Quality Management: Ensures that the program will satisfy the needs for which it is was undertaken.

  • Schedule Management: Ensures coordinated scheduling of activities, such as testing.

  • Work in conjunction with Program Managers, cross functional IT managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to define project and program requirements.

  • Responsible for ensuring all project-related documentation is created following defined standards, and appropriate signoffs of project deliverables are received.

  • Support/Manage user acceptance testing across functional teams.

  • As directed, performs risk assessments, and develops risk mitigation and contingency plans throughout the life of the projects and programs. Leads problem resolution as issues arise.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively across project teams.

  • Advance our Product & Technology strategy and challenge others in the organization toward change.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Experience and knowledge around Infrastructure projects (network, servers, cloud, etc.)

  • Ability to take on difficult and sometimes ambiguous challenges.

  • Ability to manage multiple assigned tasks and prioritize work efforts to accomplish most critical task first and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information.

  • Ability to deal with multiple concurrent projects and their shifting schedules and changing priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project.

  • Strong customer service skills

Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience:

  • Associates degree in a Business/Technical discipline or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 1-3+ years of relevant work experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word.

  • Ability to receive detailed information through verbal communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

  • Ability to receive detailed information visually through written communication (both physical and electronic).
